Akward is my racing alias, the logo behind which I build a story season after season. But in the pit boxes, I'm Ethan Vidal, I'm 20, and I swung my leg over a motorbike on my own for the first time at 16—an age when my rivals were already running in the upper echelons of racing.
In 2026, I start my second year in the French FSBK Championship, backed by the 2VS racing team. After a tough rookie year, 2026 marks a massive step up. I'm fighting my way beyond the top 10 in races, even though the mid-season threw up some serious challenges.
This year is proof that after 3 years of intense learning, I absolute deserve my spot to compete in the biggest French championship, and that the rest of the story.. is yet to be written!

My racing debut came very late compared to the average age in the paddock. In 2024, I lined up for my very first championship race, as well as my first 24-hour endurance challenge.
Getting to where I am today, I want to prove to the fans, the rivals, and to myself that it’s never too late to shine.
