Introduction
After experiencing Le Mans as a pretty encouraging round, I was honestly surprised and proud of what I achieved during this weekend at Ledenon. To give you a quick spoiler of my best result: P9 — but there is so much more to tell you about beyond just this finish!
The weekend was absolutely class, I was riding smart, analyzing everything, and not fighting the bike unlike last year. My teammate Amaury, who kicks off his season at the next round, wasn't there to give me tips. So, it was down to pinpoint analysis with my mechanic to dial in the setup, and that’s what made this weekend such a massive success. But to be completely honest, there was still something sticking in my throat…

The results are finally of our work are here, but I could have done even better! The reality is that with some riders I'm still afraid to overtake; quite a few nearly took out my front wheel, not paying attention to their surroundings and failing to realise they were being passed, which is highly frustrating. So in reality, I finished P9, but constantly bottled up behind 2 riders whom I could have quickly left in my dust — but I played it safe, and as a racer, I know that on that day I deserved 7th, which is still a level way above what I achieved last year!
That's racing for you, and I can't wait to push even closer to the top 5 in the future ^^!
See you very soon
